Changes in the issuance of the certificate of origin for timber and sawn wood

Dear Partners!

Please note that, in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated May 12, 2023, No. 483 "On Implementation of the Experimental Project for the Issuance of a Special Permit for Special Use of Forest Resources (Logging Ticket) and a Certificate of Origin for Timber and Sawn Wood in Electronic Form" (hereinafter — the Resolution),from December 17, 2023, the issuance of certificates of origin for timber and sawn wood in paper form is terminated. From the date this Resolution entered into force, certificates were issued in paper form for a transition period of seven months. Going forward, certificates will be issued exclusively in electronic form.

The electronic certificate issuance is a public e-service provided to applicants via the "EcoSystem" Unified Environmental Platform - https://eco.gov.ua

Заява на видачу сертифіката формується заявником засобами Єдиної екологічної платформи «ЕкоСистема» та/або Порталу Дія з моменту проходження ним ідентифікації та автентифікації з використанням інтегрованої системи електронної ідентифікації, електронного підпису, що базується на кваліфікованому сертифікаті електронного підпису та/або інших засобах ідентифікації, які дають змогу однозначно встановити особу заявника.

The certificate application is created by the applicant using the EcoSystem platform and/or the Diia Portal, following identification and authentication using the Integrated Electronic Identification System, an electronic signature based on a qualified certificate, and/or other identification tools that allow unambiguous verification of the applicant’s identity.
